TPJ wants to return to the Nrl for the broncos but they have said you either play rugby league or boxing. They won’t sign him unless he puts away his boxing career. So it’s basically one of the other.

Should be a no-brainer for him considering he's probably not much of a boxer anyway.
Genuine question: has he actually fought in the ring since his departure from Canterbury?

Has had two or three fights. Knocked a bloke out like a week ago

When he left he pretty much said he never liked League and never respected any halfbacks trying to tell him what to do.

Think he’s just finding fulltime boxing is just as much work with just as much discipline and training for even less playing/fighting and suddenly league doesn’t seem so bad.

What are you seeing there mate ?

I can see a plodder - could be wrong ?
Last night he was pretty average but the first 3 games of the season I was very impressed by him.

Had that sting in defence, good post contact metres, did the hard work others didn’t want to do. Effort plays is what I look for.

Adam Douehi in talks with the roosters for next season.
Has he finally accept that playing centre is going to be his best bet?

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him switch clubs this year. Should be back in a month or so. My guess is that he plays a few weeks in Cup and then asks out.

Time will tell.

From what’s being said he wants to be a 5/8 but for the tigers his best spot would be in the centres. If his team starts actually winning surely you would play wherever the coach tells you. He’s been through some seriously dark days at that club.

Cheers. I totally agree with your last sentence. He strikes me as a guy who wants it easy (nothing wrong with that), but that pretty much rules out fighting or contact sports.

I don't begrudge anyone the ability to make easy money, I'd be doing it if I could.

You're absolutely correct though mate, he's choosing to try and do it in arenas where he could end up hurting himself permanently, or worse other people.
That I can't respect.

Even though I hate the Dragons, it's a bit sad to see him go. I remember hearing Aaron Woods talking about Lomax last year on Triple M, and how much he loved the Dragons, first to training, first to offer to help out with anything on the community side. In the end pride and hurt have just taken him to point of no return, which is a shame.

Jahream Buka is a better fullback and the kid who played 6 yesterday is a good half prospect.

Time to go Adam.

I could see Flanno accepting a trade for Talagi and Greig. Eels agreeing to it highly doubtful.

Arguably improves both teams for mine.

Can't see a world where we have a chance of snagging him.

Offer em Finucane for 2025
But he returns to us in 2026 in an off field role in strength and conditioning

Let’s get Jacko re-signed before worrying about who to get rid of.

Dale signed a 4 year deal knowing what the plan was. Let him see it out.

Couldn’t agree more on Dale.

Not sure his value on the cap now.
But his off field value heavily outweighs his on field value.

Have not been an on field fan of his over the last few seasons.
But can definitely see what he brings to the rest of the team in a training perspective.
