I dont think he's a good partner to Hynes and prefer Trindall. Also I think Trindall was marked for Moylans' spot regardless

I don't disagree. Was just saying I'd rather Jack 13 Cam 14 than Cam 13 and Jack at St George. I'm not sure the start would be a deal breaker though.

I think Jack starting over cam provides some more size and strength in the middle to start the game on the front foot. I would start Williams personally. I probably would start him now as well.

Who knows what would have happened if Metcalf actually got a look in during 2022 rather than being frozen out.
Fitz has said publicly that they tried to keep him though. Was just answering the question.
Technically you could add Chad and Connor to this list. Fitz tried to keep Chad, and he also denied several release requests from Connor.

Yeah we be getting more of this as he upgrades the Jigsaw pieces, can't keep em all. No doubt one of our forwards, ( Think Williams) gets squeezed out next yr.

My recollection of SJ leaving was that he wanted a bucketload, we offered him a reduced contract. He cracked the sooks, then eventually signed at the warriors for about what we were offering him. Happy to be corrected though

It’s been reported that Fitz met with Chad and told him he was looking at another option to pair with him (later revealed to be Hynes), and that Chad had already received the Cowboys offer and it was better in terms of both years and money - so he signed it soon after.
