Moylan is leaving the country, Tracey might not even be moving house. Maybe they are just going to catch up with him in person to say goodbye

Connor owns a beachside apartment in Cronulla, he ain't moving haha.

Think you're pretty spot on here bort, Moylan was a farewell from the NRL

Panthers wont struggle without Luai if Cleary stays fit majority of the season. Schneider will be turned into a gun.

Tigers will turn things around next season if they get him, they were still competitive this year with average halves. A healthy Sezer and Luai combo could work and be something, both experienced. Add Api and Bula, i think their squad is looking good, just sort whos gonna be the centres and wing.

From some fans they also rate 20 year old Jack Cole quite highly, been switching between FE and centre in Cup last season.
Although I'd think Schneider may have the jump on him for this year.

They came last, they might want to get a lot more competitive

Worst attack in the comp and second worst defence.

Your definition of competitive is very different to mine.

Competitive during games, had some close ones, also were in games for more than 60 minutes. Not like they were getting flogged from start to finish every game.

They lacked direction and game management also

They didn’t feel as much of a basket case this year

Haven’t they already signed Olam ?

They would be over the moon that Brooks isn’t there any more especially if they can land Luai

As good as gone IMO.
Being suggested the difference is somewhere around 350k per year - pretty hard to pass up when the deals are that far apart.
With the state of the cap he also probably feels borderline (or more) insulted by a sub million (even sub 900k) deal.

Unless the squeeze pulls Penrith up a bit I think he's gone. Comments coming out of their camp suggest they won't budge.

If he stays for unadjusted Penrith offer now after all his 'know your worth' posts and the like he'll look like a little bitch (still a pretty rich bitch, admittedly).

If Penrith cave and have to fork out an extra couple hundred k to keep him well I won't hate that either, just makes it a little harder for them to keep doing what they're doing. Hard to see him improving too much further within their system.

Luais a weird one. Hes definitely a good player. But is his value inflated due to the Panthers success more than what he brings to the table alone?

Tigers need something, but they also got “something” with Api, Klemmer and Papallii last off season and still failed to strike a blow. I really dont think Luai propells that team into top 8 contention. The club just stinks from the top down and its not going to change by bringing in a marquee player

$1.2m & 4yrs vs ~$850k & 2yrs
Penrith CEO pretty much said he's not worth more vs his 'know your worth' carry on

Wallet + ego = gonskies

They seem to have some decent young players coming through but some of them are being poached.

Bunji is under pressure to deliver an improvement asap.

Ingredients for continued failure.

Maybe he should get in a film crew to make a series about some tales from Tiger town.

Read today that the Olam/Blore switch is dead now and won’t go ahead.
