I don't think that's true for long serving players that don't want to leave.

The difference on the last contract is if it’s multi year or single year.

So if you use Dale as an example of multi.

And Gallen as your single.

Players are happy to accept less if they know this is probably going to be my last season, and I’m probably lucky to be getting it.

They’re different, but I would rate Ramien a decent amount higher at this point. Noodles is putting it all together now, Best not yet. I reckon Best should play 2nd row.
