How can we justify moving sifa to the back row. He’s a gun centre. Our best and we move him?? Makes no sense.
Is that you Morgan Harper?

I’m not opposed to signing Best, I think he could be anything. However, I’m not sold on moving Sifa either.

If Teig leaves, its only natural that Tala goes back to the 2nd row, i dont even think there is any decent 2nd rowers on the market for next season, and centre might be easier to fill, Tracy, Best, Ronny ?, Iro,.

Not sold at all on Best.
Half decent in a crappy team doesn't exactly screams quality to me.
Key word is crappy team. Crappy halves, crappy coach, crappy system.

He’s got all the fundamentals to be excellent and a very good junior rep pedigree too.

Not much luck with injuries though.

And he’s only 21

Fair enough. Thought he was a bit older too.
Needs to work on his passing game too.

Have we even stopped to wonder whether Talakai would even thrive in the back row? He seems to have a size advantage v most centres, and he'd lose that which could render him less effective. His quick hands will be less needed in favour of line running. He's always seemed to be more of a run over them sort of player rather than a hole hitting guy.

Need to keep Teig.

Best was stood down at Newy last year due to not meeting team standards. He’s been touted as a future star for a while and debuted at age 17. I reckon the last few rounds are some of the best he’s played. He’s definitely leaving newcastle is my guess. There is a lot to like about him as a player.

I’d add that he’s only 21, and certainly big enough to play one an edge, if that was a consideration.

I don’t see it as a natural progression to I’ve sifa to the back row. I see it way more natural to lose a backrower and replace them with a backrower. That seems a bit more logical. Take Fitzgibbon from newy. Don’t buy into the best rumour - it’s complete and utter bs.
I’d rather Fitzgibbon from newy than bes

He absolutely brained them in the backrow when he was playing for the Jets so I personally see no issues him being excellent in the backrow if thats the direction we went.

If we lose Teig we need to get Frizzell here for 2 years and develop our next back rower.

I love sifa in the centres he has changed games with his hands and strength for us in the edges

He’s rare, would hate to see him be moved.

They aren’t many centres at all that I would play over sifa
