just a question gumby, but do you actually enjoy rugby league? how a good coach can improve the current crop of players? or are you just all about unloading media rumours about clubs signings and fantasys of yours?

this game doesnt give back to loyalty. its turning into a draft and its sad. the media especially just want to stir shyt up for a headline. when will players be allowed to focus on the game itself and not all this bullshyt about where they should sign in 2 years time?

gone are the days where you plug away for a club and bust arse to win a comp with what you got. for a moment that tastes so much sweeter than just buying a premiership

No news on us looking at anyone for next season. I know it's early but we do have a few cracks in our squad we need to fill. Depth in the second row for me is one. And another prop.

Or maybe we are and the club has finally manage to plug some leaks so to speak and our transfer business is being kept out of the internet dirt sheets.

Wishful thinking….

Personally I think the leaks have been plugged for a few years now

Personally I'd be surprised if we sign anyone of note who will become a certain starter for us, I can't see us having a great deal of wiggle room in the cap

Yeah theres that too. Fitz seems happy and settled with his current options hence the focus on retention.

its about balance and its obvious with fitz re-signing the whole backline long term and the halfback for 6 years he's not expecting the props to score 6 trys a game. he recruited in Kaufusi who still makes the yards, tho he might not sit carnts on their backside, his play the ball is 30 - 40% faster which then sets up the backline. the game is getting faster and having big angry mongrels that spend ten in the bin every second game isnt in his plan. Brayden and Royce have the agro if the game plan requires it but argy barg isnt his style. balance is key

Don’t see any issue with Gumby’s comments, I agree we need another prop (don’t agree with the second row). Like he says, forums (in particular this thread) are designed to chat about this sort of stuff.

I actually do agree with his comments re: needing depth at second row. 27 players signed for next year and Nikora is the only 2nd rower.

Need to re-sign Wilton and add either sign depth players or identify guys internally who can step in to the top 30 (e.g. O'Kane)

Plus a replacement for Wade

Anyone been watching O’Kane? How’s he tracking? Because if he’s ready to step up next season and deputise for Nikora and Wilton that would be handy.
