I see this as a big test for Coach Fitz in terms of sending a strong message to the other players on the team. The Sharks are off to a very good start this season and managing adversity comes with the territory. Tricky has shown extremely poor judgement and has to deal with the consequences but he should be suspended for say 4 - 6 games and then be allowed to work his way back via Newtown. He needs to understand that he is also on the shortest of short leashes or he is immediately fired from the team. This is an opportunity for Fitz to implement a "No d***heads policy" moving forward if he wants to.

I guess I just assumed the stand down would last until then, and the outcome would determine final punishment. I suppose he could come back before although would be a bit odd to like miss a couple weeks, come back for one, have court and miss a few more.
I'd imagine that since what he's done isn't serious enough for the stand down period to apply, the NRL will determine any punishment in advance of court imposed punishment.

Penrith obviously happy to let him walk without matching... Wouldn't have taken much to up their offer (reportably $350k per year).

Honestly think he's just surplus to their requirements, they've got alamoti and a bunch of kids on less
