Couple of blasts from the past named in Q Cup this week.

- 38 year old Adam Cuthbertson named on the bench for the Mackay Cutters
- Bessie Aufaga-Toomaga makes it 7 different teams in 7 years (Sharks NYC, Jets, 5 different Q Cup teams) and will run out for the Western Clydesdales (Toowoomba) in their first game back in Q Cup since 2006.

Cuthbertson was a gun signing for us many moons ago ….

Wasn't Adam the huuuuge youngster? I seem to recall people being blown away by him when he debuted (could be wrong though).
Did he get an injury or something for us?

Feel like I almost remember him!

You are thinking Ritson. Boom youngster, poached by Eels, head knock 11 games in, found a brain cyst, retired before his 20th birthday.

Cuthbo was a gun ballplaying forward at Manly. Signed with the Sharks and became a dud.

Still get a bit said when I think about him. Was an absolute beast with us, no one could bring him down.

Not sure Ritson was poached
More that he was signed to the ARL and didn’t want to go to Super league I think for memory??
Might be wrong
