If you could get a gun FB, then sure. Unless that's the case I don't know why you'd want anyone getting in the way of Dykes. That's just crazy recruitment.
Agree ,
I suppose as you said HB , the only exception is when Moylan moves on, a
Dykes Nicho halves pairing with an ABSOLUTE Gun fullback. would be nice
Reckon a disheartened Cobbo might fit the bill in a few years .
( yes , not a fullback yet , but a Rugby League Freak moving forward )

This dude sounds interesting

MAX BRADBURY (prop)
The young forward had a season to remember, making the Jersey Flegg grand final with the Knights and representing NSW in the under 19s Origin. The powerful forward has progressed through the grades at the club.

He just got more interesting. Supposedly the player we swap for Miller

He certainly looks like a prop! Glad we're getting something back for Miller considering Brisbane have put a $500k transfer fee on someone yet to play grade.

Listened to them discussing the "swap" on Big Sports Breakfast this morning. Interesting how they reported it as something that was just happening whereas we have all known about this for weeks. Not that we knew who we were getting but we all knew a swap was on of some kind. The whole discussion centred more around the Knights releasing a really good junior player (who none of them had seen play mind you) and worrying more about the "now" rather than the future.

Also interesting how they did not mention us as a club once or Fitz's interest in Bradbury and how he might have identified him as a good player.

I think it's because we're just a drama free club this off season. There is nothing to talk about. Even letting go Miller is without drama. It's just smart player management. We're doing the right thing by Miller but not being left with nothing in the process. Unlike releasing Morris to the chooks.

Is that even allowed?
Why wouldn’t it be
I think generally there is a bit of a handshake agreement in NRL not to do it but him and manager started the **** fight it seems. Transfer fee is more a against them than other clubs (because it blocks him out of options)

Dogs have signed Spencer and Tyrone May from 2024. They reckon they still have plenty of cash. What BS !
Agreed. Dogs splashed out big in 2021 & 2022 as well. Baffling that their continual big spending flys under the radar. Lucky they have no history of breaching the cap- cough, splutter....

Yep totally agree mate. I guess also I was a bit miffed that they didn't say things like he's coming to a club that is better run, better coached and has better prospects for success.

And now the Broncos have released him to join the Dogs... I wonder if they coughed up the $500k?
