Rather save the cash and put Tieg there
I feel for now him coming off the bench is what’s best for the team. That is if we do sign a gun 2nd rower. If we don’t sign anyone there then yes I would be starting him in the 12.

We should be having a crack at Shaun Lane imo. Direct replacement for Graham.
Paying for recent good form and to get him to change clubs would push his price up past his worth.

Hasn't shown ability to maintain good form at this stage either. Been in NRL 8 seasons and this it the first one he has been anything but irrelevant/joke of a giraffe man.

This year he's actually added good running to his ball dropping ability.

If we hadn't of re-signed Nikora then I'd agree but spending big coin on another second rower isn't what we need, we have more important areas that need attention.

What was the reason we let Capewell go
I’m blaming Morris. He went to the panthers after us, so he couldn’t have been on that big a wicket. Think Morris wanted to hang onto his nyc buddies leaving no room for capes

That would make no sense if we are dead set on moving Talakai back into the pack. Plus we have Teig who was doing great when he was starting before he got shunted for Wade. I’d rather back one of them instead.

Completely disagree. Wilton’s become a bit of a peripheral figure since being shunted to the bench. He’s far better starting.

Because we backed Nikora instead.

Pity, always saw him as a Wade or Lewis replacement since 2016, or atleast fill an edge as a starter til we had got a bigger signing there. Had potential while with us, should've gave him an edge to make his own, instead of using him as a utility and bench player. Anyway couldn't tell the future also with Wade slowing down and being missing with injuries and concussions

Not huge, but had made origin squad (not team) and wanted a start so would have been decent.
A factor would have been price for him vs Bomber backing much cheaper youngster, keeping in mind also Bomber had restricted cap he had to work with.

Capewell was showing glimpses but still regularly erratic then. Ran like a baby giraffe on roller skates. Would have prioritised him a bit more if we'd anticipated Wade's struggles

Fresh from losing one of the game's hottest teenagers, Cooper Toy to the Roosters, the Sharks have lost yet another young gun to the Chooks.

Cronulla are filthy that the Roosters snuck under their guard to sign 15-year-old Gymea Gorrilla utility back Zane Cordi.

Daniel Anderson personally recruited him and Cordi is expected to be parachuted into the Harold Matthews Cup next season despite being a year younger than most of the team.

Weird article. Cooper Toy already plays for the Roosters, has for a few years now. So if he was a Shark, it’s hardly fresh.
