That's a real annoying one as you can't get anything much in return. Personally if he's going to get a starting spot there and isn't in our 17 next year i'd let him go. He's at that point of his career that he can't really afford to wait out an opportunity. Could possibly look for a swap with a young project fullback/half they might have in their system.
Get Bennett to sign an IOU and tell Dykes if he extends with Sharks we will allow Miller to leave which hopefully shows him another potential path into firsts

I'll take young katoa off their hands for him.

We signed his younger brother from the Dogs.

Not sure if he’s any good
Tapau’s younger brother we signed is actually very good - it’s a good pickup.

He’s probably 2/3 years away from FG but

Looks like Ciraldo is definitely committing to Pennies but they have a clause
”an agreement that should he start the pre-season by Cleary’s side, he must finish the year”.

So no early release (with their blessing anyway).

Nothing official
Yeah - lots of them have actually signed contracts. Official contracts, on official paper, with official letterheads. The Dolphins are using Capras as their feeder this year for most players. There are some exception (e.g. Ed Burns at Redcliffe) but Capras are the preferred spot.

That said - I reckon a top 30 contract offer supersedes a T&T, so if anyone wanted those guys right bill now they could get them.

It would be news in Papua New Guinea if they had a contract to an nrl club, they don't have contracts

SMH is reporting up to 7 clubs are going after Joseph Tapine from Nov 1st.

That number seems very low to me.
