Well apparently the NRL have set Lodge at a full $200k value if a club was to sign him for the remainder of the year, with apparently not many clubs with that money left to spend.

Depending how much room the Eels and us have, we could take Kaufusi off them to allow just enough for them to sign Lodge.

But might also seem weird them swapping a front rower for a front rower, unless they see Lodge as an upgrade or a long term deal. Hopefully it happens though.

I’d say if they take him it would be for more than the rest of this year.
They are losing a few props end of the season so he could fill one of those spots (and start earlier by joining this season).
