Burton or Dylan Brown would complete us in 2024 IMO. Would really give that kind of spine to carry any willing squad of players
100%
Thats why Moylan should only get 1 year.
If he wants more he can fo elsewhere

Bit of talk about him wanting out with Barrett leaving. Probably bs but I hope we are sniffing around anyway.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with the extra $200k he could get by signing somewhere else...

As long as Taukamo is decent I don't mind Dykes leaving.
Our system is fairly deep at fullback atm

Kennedy
Miller
Dykes
Taumako

If the tigers get him that’s a decent forward pack for next year.

Crichton and Papall’i is a bloody good starting back row. With korisou directing them around at 9.

If Crichton signs I think you’ll see madge get extended till the end of next season.
Anyone know what's going on with all the Tigers' juniors? How do they not have quality playesr coming through in just about every position?

Dunno, all I know is that they released Papy back in the day to "re-sign" Tedesco just before he signed with the Roosters. lol.

id rather just go all out for mitch moses

Im gravitating more so to Dylan Brown tbh.
Moses can be an amazing individual. Great goal kicker also. I just feel like he runs the Moses show.

Dylan Brown just feels like that player that buys in and plays for the team. Reminds me of the good qualities of what Moylan brings when we are on in attack, good simple slight of hand. Except with a better kicking game and someone who can run, break the line, defend and bring some x-factor. Hes also shown he compliments a main man. Weve commited to Hynes, I dont thin Moses and Hynes match. Hynes is our Halfback, id just love that explosive runner that can play the simple game plan also.

Problem with guys like Brown is the price. Hes still under 23. 700k a season max is fair and im sold vs 1 mill Moses.
But if Brown goes to the market for more then it becomes a big discussion.

On a side note this Dykes kid. Can he kick? Has he played any football in the halves? Maybe we have a little gem right under our noses. Or maybe hes just another fullback

They do, revamped and firing particularly the older age groups. Strong in the front row cmg thru. They have been quietly bolstering from further afield. Also believed to be focussing on the indigenous boys, which is a good move.

Played in the halves up until 2020, but has primarily been a fullback since turning 18. He has a passing game but he is primarily a ball runner. Could develop a passing game over time though. He is young.

Taukamo on the other hand definitely has a passing game. Is equally good at 1 or 6 and is 2 years younger.

Then of course you have Rivett. Has a bit of everything but needs time. Would be nice to see him play for the Jets this year at some stage.

Is he yet to play?
How old is he now?
COVID has definitely delayed his development
