i thought munster was being chased for next yr. ah yes
the spine will be key.
but I reckon bennett will get the right mix to make a good start.

Yeah I'm not even sure they were back then. Pearce was an exceptional defender though so thought his era would have been their best chance.

Yep, Tigers were a lightweight but good defensive pack in them in the late 80es. Peace, Kevin Hardwick, Steve Edmed, Back door Benny . Blocker, Siro…all with a barking mad G Freeman driving them around the park for 80 minutes. That defensive unit & directing half are a long way from the hapless rabble they put out last week. PS. Thier co captain wingers game - Big Kenny, it reminded me of Warren Borland’s insipid efforts for Wests 40 years ago.
