Interesting he seems to be talking like the most likely outcome is retirement.
Usually you'd talk about finding a club until it doesn't happen but he seems to think either it won't happen or he doesn't expect an offer he thinks is worth playing on for, or maybe only thinks it is worthwhile if he hears from a top club or something.
Another factor is if offers are from club near enough to area he wants to move to, could be in Sharks area or maybe not.

Aren't Titans a bit shallow at hooker? You'd think they could chuck him a train and trial.
Not sure if he'd want to come to NSW for a train and trial.

Don't know enough about him to suggest he is worth any more

Berrell had a really good year, but hasn't been a standout until this year. 2019 he played off the bench behind Mitch Cronin (R.I.P.) who was better. He always looked dangerous in attack but had a lot of mistakes in him. He's cut that out and was playing really consistent footy this year.

Titans signed Aaron Booth, who imo has been a better player than Berrell over the last 3-4 years.

The one thing in Berrell's favour is that he can play in the halves too. He'd be a decent guy to have in an NRL squad as depth.

Yep. It is.

There were a lot of really good 9's in the comp this year. Most are older and have a few years under them (Politoni, Chudleigh) but one guy I really like watching is Liam Hampson from Tweed. He's only 23 and plays off the bench but I reckon he was outplaying the starter by the end of the year. I'd like to see him get a crack somewhere.
