World Golf Championship Match Play event at Austin Country Club in Texas this week.

Quite a few Aussies playing - Adam Scott, Jason Day, Cam Davis, Lucas Herbert and Min Woo Lee.

Good results for the Aussies in Round 1 with only Cam Davis losing his Round 1 match against Xander Schauffele.

Next round commences at 1.30am our time tomorrow morning - all on Kayo.

He certainly is mate. Hits the ball an amazing length for his build, in Round 1 of this match play, he hit two drives of 350 yards or more. That is just insane. Just needs to be a bit more consistent - wherever there is a birdie or eagle, a bogey or double bogey is just around the corner.

If it was stroke play last night, he would have shot a 66 - 5 under but that contained two eagles and two double bogeys!!
Bring back Craig Parry the super athlete.
Yeah mate, Popeye was great fun!:LOL::LOL:

Round 2 of the Match Play Championship has finished and wins to Aussies Jason Day, Cam Davis and Lucas Herbert. Day and Herbert have two wins now so are in the box seat to progress. Adam Scott, Min Woo Lee and Cam Davis need to win their Round 3 matches to have any chance of progressing.

WGC Match Play ended in a bit of an upset. McIlroy and Scheffler made the semi finals but were beaten by Cam Young and Sam Burns. Burns went on to win the tournament by beating Young 6 & 5.

And in other good news - Min Woo Lee has now received his official invitation to the Masters and will line up in two weeks time on April 6 at Augusta. Last year in his first tilt at the Masters, he finished tied for 14th which was a magnificent effort.

Can he go a few steps closer???

Here are the current odds for your US Masters winner for 2023.

Starts next Friday morning (our time), so if you have nothing to do on the Easter weekend, then why not watch the Masters!

This is also the tournament where LIV golfers are allowed to take part on the PGA tour. So Cameron Smith ($17) is in.

Other Aussies include, Jason Day ($17) , Min Woo Lee ($51) , and Adam Scott ($67).

Tiger Woods is also playing and they have him paying $81 for the win.

Haven't heard much of Day the last few years. Has he been injured?

Yes mate and he lost his Mum who he was really close to. He just hasn't been right mentally.

But he is free of all injuries now and it has been said that his personal issues are now sorted and he is a much better place.

He is starting to show the form that had him at No 1.

Tough conditions at the US PGA in Rochester New York. Also a tough course normally.

After three rounds the leader is Koepka at 6 under.

Nearest Aussie tied for 10th at +1 is Min Woo Lee.

Nearly all the Aussies made the cut but some like Lucas Herbert and Adam Scott are 12 shots from the lead at +6.

Cam Davis is at +2 and Cam Smith is at +4

Jason Day and David Micheluzzi didn’t make the cut.

US Open is underway this morning at the Los Angeles Country Club. Rickie Fowler and Xander Schauffele lead the way at 8 under. Amazing when you see how tough this course is.
There are two par 3s, one at 258 yards and the other at a massive 290 yards! The par 5s are also quite long, Rory McIlroy who is at 5 under had a third shot at one of them still 147 yards out, despite hitting two good first shots.

Best of the Aussies are Min Woo Lee and Cam Smith both at 1 under, followed by Lucas Herbert at even par, Cam Davis at 2 over, Adam Scott and Jason Day at 3 over and our amateur Karl Vilips at 4 over.

Update on the US Open after Round 2.

Rickie Fowler still leads on 10 under, with Wyndham Clark a shot behind.

Round of the day went to Aussie Min Woo Lee with a 5 under 65, leaving him just four shots behind in a tie for 6th with Dustin Johnson, who carded a ridiculous 8 at the par 4 2nd hole. Cam Smith is also not far away at 4 under.

Wyndham Clark won the US Open by a shot from Rory McIlroy. Cam Smith and Min Woo Lee were 4th and tied 5th respectively. Excellent effort from them both!

Next PGA Tour event starts tonight - it is the Travellers Championship coming to you from Cromwell in Connecticut USA. They are 14 hours behind us so the action starts at 8.45pm tonight our time.

There are five Aussies teeing it up - Min Woo Lee, Adam Scott, Cam Davis, Lucas Herbert and Jason Day.

Min Woo is in the first group of the 10th at 8.45pm our time tonight.

Kayo has excellent coverage.

Weather is a bit iffy, there is some rain and storms forecast but hopefully they can get through each day OK.

All Aussies have made the cut at the Travellers Championship, the best being Adam Scott at 10 under.

Lucas Herbert and Min Woo Lee both at 9 under and Jason Day and Cam Davis at 5 under.

Leaders are Keegan Bradley and Denny McCarthy both at 15 under so still a mountain to climb for our guys.

Keegan Bradley was the winner at 23 under.

Best Aussie tied for 9th was Min Woo Lee.

That’s a top 5 and a top 10 result for him in the past two tournaments.

He now travels to England for the Nick Faldo hosted Betfred British Masters which starts on Thursday and then he will play the Scottish open after a week’s break before tackling The Open at Royal Liverpool. Busy few weeks for Min Woo!

Betfred British Masters starts tonight, coverage on Kayo from 10pm. Perfect really, watch the Sharks game, switch back and forth between the cricket and then put on the golf. Then go off to sleep if you fancy it.

No major Aussies in this one except for Min Woo Lee who has flown across the pond getting ready to play in the Scottish Masters, a title he won a couple of years ago and then The Open at Royal Liverpool.

The field for this one isn't that strong, so I would be very surprised if Min Woo doesn't get a top 5 spot or even win. The other Aussies are more low key ones like Jason Scrivener, David Micheluzzi, Blake Windred, Maverick Antcliff, Jordan Zunic, Jarryd Felton and Dimitrios Papadatos, names you've probably never heard of.

The US PGA event starting tomorrow is the Rocket Mortgage Classic that has Cam Davis, Aaron Baddeley, Cameron Percy and Harrison Endycott but none of the others like Adam Scott or Jason Day.

Scottish Open gets underway tonight at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick Scotland.

Aussie contenders are Min Woo Lee (who won here in 2021), Aaron Baddeley, Lucas Herbert, Harrison Endycott, Cam Davis, and Adam Scott.

Its a huge field with a lot of the top 50 players preparing for the Open championship at Royal Liverpool next week.

As usual, coverage is on Kayo.
