Sounds painful. I reckon most of us wouldn't play a social round in this condition, yet Min Woo is going to tackle the hardest golf tournament in the world with this injury. I am one of his biggest fans but I can't see him making the cut now. If he does it will be a miracle.

Sadly not a great first round for the Aussies at the Masters.

Bryson De Chambeau leads at 7 under.

Cam Davis is our best at 3 under, and then Cam Smith at 1 under. Min Woo Lee struggled with his broken finger with a horror start of four over after 6 holes but then birdied 8, 12 and had an eagle on 13. Two more bogeys brought him back to 2 over par after 18.

Jason Day and Adam Scott are still on the course and will resume Round 1 tomorrow due to fading light. The first round was delayed two hours due to inclement weather. Jason Day has fought back from some bad holes early on to be even par after 13 holes. Adam Scott is 1 over after 13 holes.

Our amateur Jasper Stubbs had a first round of 80.

Nothing wrong with that mate, as you know it can all change very quickly at this tournament.

Indeed mate and yes both Cams are still well in it. And if Jason and Adam can get a few birdies while completing their first Rounds they'll also be well in it.

I never give up on Min Woo either, if he shoots 5 or 6 under in Round 2 he'll have made the cut and can start again.

So probably not as bad a picture I painted.

Scheffler wins the Masters. Enough said, let's move on.

Best of the Aussies was Cam Smith tied for 6th on 2 under par.
