Been a bit quiet on the extension front with this guy so wouldn’t mind hearing that we have locked him in for a few more seasons.

Chances are the longer this goes the more likely he is to leave and I think he will do a Nikora next season and lift to being one of the form 2nd rowers of the comp.

Would love to have the top 2 second rowers in Nikora and Wilton playing in our colours for the next 3+ yrs

That’s how I feel about it too
A lot of them you can make an excuse for, but there shouldn’t be a lot of them

Unfortunately they're 50/50 balls.
He takes them close to the line and he breaks clean through or scores
However when he gets it wrong we end up talking about it here.
Hes not a million miles off, needs some polishing and fine tuning but hes still only 23 and will only get better.

We can focus on the dropped balls sure but let's not ignore how good his runs have been and despite still having some defensive issues does seem to be getting better lately and has actually put on some really good tackles.

Ball handling can be worked on and fixed - Kennedy, Katoa, Hunt, Williams, McInnes, Mozza ect. ect. they have all had issues with it and managed to get on top of it.

The ball players (including Wade....) should probs take it easy on the short flat balls before the defensive line for a bit, let Teig get some confidence back in his handling. Teig is not at Nikora's level yet and needs more time to execute that sort of play on the regular and hold onto the ball.

Would rather a young player with ability that has improvement in him and plenty of time to make it than a bloke who's only talent is not dropping the ball or just making tackles.

People need to chill out about his contract - no one on the Internets knows what is going on with it. If they claim to know ask them for proof, otherwise just relax. Wouldn't be suprised to get the news of him extending during the Origin period.

It's a bit of a catch 22, needs to practice it to get the timing right in games. It will come. Just pick the times to do it.

I'm sure it is working at training otherwise why would they be executing it live in a game. Obviously a game is different to training for a number of reasons.

Needs more practice agree, but can't persist perpetually if its giving us 2 or 3 errors a game. Need to get it right soon or put it in the back pocket for a while.

This is my point. Needs to try it in games. I think it is a matter of time before it comes off more. I would persist with it now so that by seasons end it hopefully works out and gives us another option.
