That would be me. I've started quite well and had great captain choices. I'm 168th overall atm. Burned a few trades early though so will need to slow down a bit.

My biggest let down so far has been starting with Latrell. If i'd bit the bullet and switched early to Walsh/Miller I'd be in a better spot. As it stands I think I have to wait for the Bunnies to get a better run as he's dropped in price too much.

I had so many 'guns' disappoint.
Cotter, SWalker, Doueihi, Teddy, Holmes and To'o all seemed like good buys to me at the start but have put me behind.

Also Doorey over Cartwright and backing Loiero to be a little closer to EKatoa than he has been hurt me too. Got both of those wrong.

I scored around 1700 one round last year, but was still only 190th...

Yeah I wish I had gone Katoa too. I have him and Nikora in draft and they are flying.

I didn't have any of those guns. Went with Garrick and cheapies in the ctw. They all seem to be making good cash after last week. I'll have to start finding some cash as I've got tricky and nicho at 7 now. Will need a half for Rd 6.

That is seriously unlucky. I've had Turbo, Hopgood, Grant and Hynes. I'd say that's the main reason I'm sitting where I am.

I think I was Turbo Grant Grant Turbo so not too bad until last week.
If Tigers hadn't been ****ing around with Doueihi I would have held him and got Hynes last week and VC Turbo C Hynes

You worried about burning too many trades early? I'm holding back on a few moves now because I'm pretty sure I'l need those trades later in the season... I always get caught out and my good runs of wins turn into poo!

I went Brown which I think overall will be good but I should have just copped the extra 40 or 50k loss and got Hynes last week and worried about 5/8 this week, and had like 300 more points as a result haha

Absolutely, I've burned a few early so I will probably not trade this week. I just be looking to gradually cash out cheapies where appropriate. No idea how it's going to pan out with the byes etc towards the back end of the year so I think I'm going to need a whole lot in the bank.

It's tough to know the strategy this year with so many changes... Still, scoring a shed load of points early is always a solid choice!
