I remember when I was collecting them, Steve Kneen was a real hard one to get for that year. Had heaps of other cards but always had a gap here. Until a cousin in another part of Sydney had three of them and I swapped him!

I had full sets from around the 80's but sadly I think they are at menai now,

Lucky I had the Sharks ones in a separate box.

And swapping them at school and with other kids in the neighbourhood. Remember the pink chewy......

About 6 years ago i found a few shipping boxes full of mid 80s cards. These were all unopened cartons of card packs.

This was at the local confectionary wholesaler, so were obviously stored from back then. We opened a back and for a bet i ate the chewy. I got my 10 bucks but i got so sick.

Its a shame that place moved a few years ago.

Would've been like hitting the jackpot to find that lot, something I wish I found .lol

I was given a unopened box from the early 90's, it was fun opening all the packets, I took all the Cronulla ones and gave the rest to the kids in the neighbourhood. (they were just standard cards)
