No but it is annoying. Why have an unsubscribe option if you can’t unsubscribe? I didn’t buy a membership to receive junk mail.
I'm sure it's part of what is expected by the sponsors when they sponsor.

The club would say we have an email list of this many people, so your product/company will be going straight into their inboxes.

Your email address adds to the saleability of the Sharks as a sponsorable entity.

It must be a bit of a nightmare managing the emails, between the members, ex-members, leagues club members, Tradeable Bits subscribe options (e.g. when voting for Man of the Match), Ticketek subscribe options when you buy a ticket. I don't envy them!

100%. Sam interviewed someone on his podcast last year (sorry - I forget his name), who set all that up for the Sharks about 10 years ago

Getting personal details is No1 priority for exactly those reasons.

seems to be a grocer at kirrawee
a few stores around

how big is the signage?
It's actually very nice to shop there. Aldi, Dan Murphy's and Woolies all at one place. Usually less people too. The only place better is the Village because there is a Coles there as well so you get all 4 in one place.
