Talakai works so hard, we rely on him. Gives us the hitups and carries of a forward but the skill and opportunities of a centre

Don't move him

Defense is his area for improvement but as Burgess said its a problem for him in the forwards either way

All in all he is going great - was nice to see him get over the stripe again . defenders hang off him when he has early ball, depth and space and they tend to slide close to their own try line as they know he can pass or kick. you don't get that benefit so much with Connor

Yeh played well tonight. Unless we lose another 2 or 3 forwards no need to move him.

Congrats Safi. Rewards for a great year.

He will learn a lot in this camp. Watch him come out of his shell!

he will play for tonga at the WC, but said he would play for nsw during the season
Amazing... makes it even tougher for those teams to get any sort of cohesion. They need to sort the international rules out, fast.

I think the NRL made are trying to help as they allowed NSW / QLD players to play for their country (for tier 2 countries). That will help this countries improve.

The problem is that there is a clash this year in that the games are on the same weekend.

It's hard trying to balance SOO, minimising impact to NRL season and trying to promote Pacific nations by giving them more games and exposure.

Me either but they need to clean up the playing origin 1 and potentially opting out of consideration for round 2 thing.

Not that complicated players with multiple eligibility just need to be aware they are expected to be available for origin first and if not selected then welcome to play elsewhere and may come back into consideration for origin 3.
Maybe they were

If they sorted out the International Rules, Talakai wouldn't be able to play for Tonga
