Massivly so.
He made a mockery out of Gagai in round 4, and can now well and truly stake a claim for a Blues shirt.
Just got to hope that we (as a team) dont overplay that hand too much tomorrow night and give it to him expecting 200+ m in 40mins - but itd be awesome if he did lol
Happy for him to ease things back and spread his 200m, 2 tries and 3 assists across the 80 this week.

Well Riccio would know.

Interesting that we only signed him last April but wanted to keep give him another contract.

I think he’ll stay on an upgraded deal. He seems to acknowledge how he threw away opportunities when he was a kid and seems unlikely to want to mess with what’s working him being at the Sharks.

Sisi did fine tonight. Tried to introduce himself plenty of times to a team of **** and wasn’t outstanding.

He was often getting the ball right when he was about to get tackled. Whenever he went in looking for the ball he went ok.

Plenty on this forum has mentioned we had no plan B. Blind Freddy would have known how Brisbane planned to counter him.

Needed to get deeper and have him running inside plays or decoys.

Staggs dominated him but he wasn't terrible.

I'm not going to argue again what 'at present' means mate, it's quite obvious.
Yeah I just said somewhere else I didn’t think Staggs dominated him. Was a good battle.

Two things that did upset me he got stopped cold my Walters and I think Reynolds because he tried to bowl them instead of using the fend

Reckon he got BROKE , during game ( can anyone can find a hit )
At the ground was gasping / struggling even BEHIND the attacking line ( missing from action once )
Wait and see injuries before judging

Yeah was a great battle. I think Staggs dominated him in defence but Sifa was very effective when he ventured in field which is what makes him so valuable, can't think of many centres that have that attribute.

My main concern was defence and I'm not sure Sifa was directly responsible for much.

Despite the carry on from the commentators who expected Sifa to score a try every time he touched the ball and lauded Staggs cos he "stopped him" the one on one battle was a bit of a non event. Sifa had some good runs out of trouble (and got smashed a few times) and more importantly (IMO) his defence was solid.
