Yep Def not a centre. Would have rathered taking a chance with hiroti at centre.
Talaki back in the middle tucking the ball under his arm busting the defensive line.

Not clear Hiroti is fit to play, was outside the 18

Happy for him to stand out in the centres for a set occasionally when we are 10meters out in attack…

Hannay might be down on some options but he is not down on so many options that he has to play Talakai in the centres. you may as well just stick with Chambers or give Hiroti a go (fit?). does Dugan still train with us?

or get tracey in the backline and find another solution @ 6

Talakai has a good pass on him at times but please keep him out of dummy half

Ok thanks. I couldn’t find anything to say if he was still injuried or just left out of the
18 with Billy Mag playing. :)

Yeah not clear on Hiroti but he has had a bit of success getting into the 17 this season (played same amount of games as Moylan!) so you'd think would have been well in consideration for centre if fit. Not sure either way, just pointing out he has been dropped out of the 18 man the last two weeks, so he might be close but not quite 100%. You'd think with Talakai already at centre you'd run fit Hiroti at 18th man over Kai O'Donnell but I guess you could make a fair argument Tracey and Metcalf can cover any injury in backs so maybe just a nice little welcome gift for Kai

Dugan has not entered Queensland as far as I am aware
Someone, think it was Wizard? was at Shark park recently and saw Cam and Wade training with SJ watching on, not sure if they saw any other players there like Dugan?
I suspect he has had a bit of a mental health issue and has been basically exempt from team duties

Yeh I don't get this decision at all.

He had actually moved into the middle very briefly but had to move straight back out when Ronnie went down the tunnel ….

Not sure if anyone noticed, but I thought he played better in the middle than the edges last night.

But his form has certainly dropped this year.

Missed lots of footy start of the year, happy for him to go try step it up in the off-season. Best thing that can happen to a few of our guys next year is 2 find out they can be dropped, with dale and Mcinnus coming all the current guys ain’t making the 17.

That one on one strip pissed me off

As we started that set I turned to my son and said we just needed to make sure we don’t do anything silly. I specifically said got to look out for one on one strips!

Shook my head and my fist when it happened!

Yeah Milford running out one on one straight at him, doesn’t take a genius to work out he is only chasing a strip.

TBH I had a feeling something stupid was going to happen.

I’m sure he will be coping it from the boys at training.
Hopefully he learns from it.

There is a very good player in Talakai - get him some leadership and give him a coach with footy smarts and he will be a key part of the team for years.

Imagine what someone like Bellamy could turn him into

I feel like he isn't a starter. I want him coming off the bench to run off the back fence. Bumping players off like he was doing last year.

Think he will be much better with McInnes and Finucane in the squad. So will Toby and the rest. We just need some quality and experience to mix with the youth and potential to get the best out of everyone. There's plenty here to work with
