Nah - it wasn't a great format for presenting that stuff, and was a bit pricey. Also very few views on most posts.

You'd need to be pushing it hard

Post on here with every new article, post on facebook groups (various sharks groups), sharks reddit etc

Even stuff like eye test which is great I don't actively check and rely on it being put in front of me by someone stating why I should click into it

After I first found out about your site I checked it a couple times, then forgot about it for a while, then checked it again, then I think you popped back up here and I couldn't guess when the last post was made on the site, or if it is even still up (sounds like it isn't)

Could push it on Zero Tackle. Some quality content would be a new angle for them

Yeah understand. I think also what I'm passionate about is the actual footy part rather and preferred to spend time on that rather than learning the best way to push things. Was thinking with the video thing I'd just do it via Canva and let it handle the push side of it.

Let it die with the renewals came up after the first year.

Thanks mate.

Figured there wasn't much of an appetite for that sort of thing outside of yourself and 1-2 others on here. Spoke back and forth to Sam about going on SharkCast and talking about some of the analysis stuff, but we never got around to making that happen. If I was able to find a better content management tool that let me just put the data in and have the graphs etc. generated dynamically that would have been nice, but it would also have bumped up the cost a bit.

The idea was to move to capturing snippets of video from prospects and getting that stuff out to the wider community. I've had a few personal things taking up my time lately (am learning Vietnamese and also trying to improve at guitar) though, so that is on the backburner for now. I might do that for 2027 now that I've compiled a whole bunch of background on the prospects. I'd want to do it legitimately though, so I might actually approach BarTV about using footage with permission if I put an ad in each video or something.

Not enough Oggy articles...

Do The Roar still take submissions? Could be a good way to dip the toe in whenever you get the itch.
That and a $20 ChatGPT subscription for the graph creation could be enough to tide you over.

I always thought your content was interesting. Keep us updated.
It wasn't actually the graph creation that is the issue. I can do that with excel no worries. It was just the limitation of having the website having to just have an image of a graph rather than something interactive.

Because I went there when I mentioned it, I found this first graphic interesting https://www.rugbyleagueeyetest.com/...cant-attack-out-of-may-nrl-efficiency-update/
Probably more relevant to 'the old you' though

Dan needs someone to run the numbers on 'hair touches per minute'
While he may not have his head hair to reach for early predictions have the data showing Trindall as the 'true ball controlling half'

Thanks mate.

Fair enough, it certainly would be great to see some better source material on juniors rather than just game highlights.

Genuinely appreciate all the time you put in for sharks content no matter which direction you take it.

Proabably all academic now (a little contrarian but you get the gist), but with a few minutes work, Chat coding could design the interactive and give you the fiddle-able (technical term) version in HTML code, which you could drop into a code block on the website...

And I'm a fellow nerd. Just for that sort of stuff.

Not sure if it's an official word, but is one of @HaroldBishop's nicknames at the BOB!

If I ever get it going again I might just subcontract that to you :)

One bad offload error near the end (could have been a match winner though). Otherwise excellent.

Aside from that offload he was impressing me with his judgement these days… when to keep fighting, when to get a quick play the ball
Tough one that offload
Kind if thing that looks brilliant when it comes off and it was close

Needed to be 10cm or so higher I think
