Whilst I support Sifa showcased some of the inherent defensive deficiencies - but let’s not forget he in essence replaced a guy who was so far out of position defensively he was halfway up the tunnel in our last game

I still feel we disrupted our team too much to replace someone who had a poor game.

If it was a straight swap for another winger, fine.

But we put a guy who has played best for us in the centres, and not so good in the wing (Hiroti) and another who is slow defensively in a fast season, against a fast backline into centres.

Fitz stuffed up this one - and he admitted it.

That's the thing, we all know he isn't a centre, but the scariest thing is he still played better than our current centres in recent weeks...

His carriers have been good - but yeah, he is no good at centre defensively. Not his fault, just wrong body size for this modern game.

I won’t pretend I know because I’ve not been watching cup and certainly not been watching training but if any of the prospects are a better defender at centre than Talakai I say play them.

We have was to score elsewhere, we can’t just bleed points through centre any time a team has some field position.

Maybe it’s Jones maybe it’s Vea’ila. Maybe it’s Ramien back next week after some time off working on not making dumb mistakes.
But I wanna play whoever can defend better than Talakai

Yep he is a wrecking ball, with amazing skills, anywhere on the field in attack. His best position is on the edge imo - not sure any of our other current edge choices are better defenders?
