His current contract runs till mid next year, after which there is a rugby world cup. Wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to see if he could qualify for that. At which point he'd be 31 turning 32 and available for the 2028 season.

I'm not sure anything happens till then, and I'm not sure it's worth it at that point.

By then, we would have had a hell of a good look & Ison & if he’s killing it we may well have a hard time keeping the other clubs at bay.

But is he seeing him everyday?

Not saying he’s coming but if he realises he isn’t making the World Cup squad (which I don’t think he will) then he might want a return to league

I'm with @Capital_Shark, he'll go to Roosters if he returns. I'd be surprised if there isn't a handshake agreement, Politis absolutely loves Joey.

Not sure that what you mean by “seeing him every day”.

Like HB says, something as simple as “if you ever want back in the NRL Joey, call us 1st”.
