I did not mean that to be our biggest issue at all. Just that it contributed to the whole disharmony of the team tonight. Then again, nothing was firing tonight and “that” is the real issue that Fitzy needs to solve,
Yeah I know mate
Just saying I think that’s one hole where we have at least an okay cover… I’d take Kennedy or BHU back over Ramien even if he has been playing well, think Connor will be an okay fill in

God I felt sorry for him today, dealt a rough hand with those bombs kicked up right into the sun. His confidence was shaken for the rest of the half even though almost every winger would of struggled with those unless they were wearing good sunnies. He got better in the second half which is something.

One of his worst games, but he has been pretty reliable so he gets a pass for a **** game I think.

Mistakes are going to happen but what concerns me is that their pace and intensity seemed to be missing. Not just Katoa but most of them. Where were those fast hit ups? Tracey was the only one running at full tilt.

Maybe it was just how it appeared on TV but it looked like they were only running at about 80%.

Humidity in Brissy yesterday was next level. The walls and floors of my house were wet from moisture by ~10am. I have never seen this before in 10+ years living in this house.

It's not really an excuse given that both teams had to deal with it - but it is not surprising that some players were gassed.

I was thinking that too but as you said Canberra still ran harder and defended better - with 12 players for 30mins.

Might have contributed, but the backs didn't get any good ball all game so it's really hard to tell. There were some okay shapes setting up, but honestly Nicho didn't look like he know where to go and I didn't spot Trindall a lot.

I think in the end the gameplan was to go to Nicho as much as possible, so I don't think that's really on Trindall. But with Nicho also being the fullback he just couldn't quite get into position fast enough to receieve his own passes and be the link in the backline we needed.

Humid enough in Sydney for me, no way I could live up there.

We have looked exhausted since that second half of the Manly game - Flu hangover or have we just been flogged too hard / not handling having regular starters out? Maybe it's partly an attitude thing and some of the hype and motivation is waning a tad, other than last week the boys look deflated

Yea about 5 mins into the game our jerseys were soaked and all shiny I thought it had started to rain a downpour again. It looked really cool on our jerseys though kinda like the nice graphical reflections and water effects you see in a video game ha

Would think the Raiders would be less conditioned to humidity than us though, started to catch up with them in the second half as they lost players to sin bin ect. they worked very hard in defense all game. Interesting to see how they back up next week

Sharks spent a chunk of the first 30 mins of the game defending, which would have added to any fatigue.

I think he misses his mate on the inside. He even gave away a 'Ramien' penalty.

I was trying to read Sione's lips with that penalty. I think he was accusing AJ of saying something racist.

Call me crazy but I thought I saw Sione say the word "racist" when everyone was grabbing each other's jerseys. Give it another watch and let me know what you think. AJ was not angry or pushing anyone around in that mele... he almost looked like he was trying to explain to Sione that he didn't say what Sione may have thought he said.

I was trying to watch at the end of the game if AJ went to him to chat... They cut to the Sunday night with Matty Johns show
