But is that him or is that the attack oriented game plan
Good question, wondered the same. There's an obvious directive to back yourself & go for points almost any chance you get. That bouncy, spinning run stuff is also a good way to describe Tedesco's style, he's just insanely more successful with it.

I prefer a more direct Sione especially doubling up off a good run & fast PTB. Has better ball security with that too.

Same

Undeniably the strat worked out in that game. A bit more ball security early in game might not have gone astray though

He wasn't alone in that though every **** seemed to be playing 'next try wins' to start with.
For sure

I think we may have more of an attack oriented game plan than a lot of people assume Fitz would implement.

Will be some frustrations for us fans if true but I’ll cop it if we are winning most games.

Trick will be instilling high enough execution to get it right enough, and a clear understanding when to turn it on and off

Absolutely agree. Its like the "defence oriented coach" stuff was a bit of a red herring for how he thinks about attack too.

Yeah it's been an indifferent start to the season for him. Need him to find his groove soon.

3 year deal about to be announced according to Riccio

3 years gives me the feeling they want to trial Ronnie at centre, can't see us wanting to block SS' pathway into grade for much longer.

Would say that both Iku and Hiroti will be moving on at end of the year as well. Was already expecting that to be the case though.

I'd prefer two years for Sione.

Ikavalu we should keep for depth. But probably wants a starting spot so may look elsewhere. Tigers should get him. He’s a good player. Or super league.

Ikuvalu was roosters backup and moved to be Sharks backup. I don’t think he is likely to be thinking he gets a starting spot. May preference somewhere he thinks he could fight for one but turning 30 next year don’t think anywhere will have a clear start for him. Tigers probably is somewhere he could fight for a start.

Very good 3rd choice winger though and can surely find a landing spot where that role is available. For us given injury this year he may be behind SS going forward here.

Not sure any SL club would be too excited for an NRL backup winger either. Maybe if he didn’t take up a foreign slot for whatever reason.

If Hymel Hunt can get a start in firsts then Ikuvalu can.

3 years on normal coin, allows that after 2 if another club were interested or we wanted to move him on, we wouldn't be paying much freight.
And allows us time to blood players coming through

If he went to the Tigers he'd be starting fullback within 10 rounds.
Maybe just for two games, but still...
