His try was a bit like Alfie's in his origin return but with the sexiness and close proximity to the sideline we come to expect from Si.

I say this with the absolute bias of someone who closely watches every Sharks game and typically only half watches most other games but...

Surely Sione Katoa has copped the most unpenalised high contacts in the NRL this season?

Seems like every week he gets blasted across the jaw and ref doesn't budge.

Absolutely. We got done for 1 last week that was same as Si copped a few times.

I was saying this bloke should be dropped 3-4 weeks ago after a couple of very ordinary performances.

He has proved me wrong and made me eat my foot in a big way. Bloke has turned a massive corner IMO. Well done to him!

I reckon he's been very good for at least 1.5 seasons now. That little dip a few weeks back was just minor form slump, not much in it really.

I was just very concerned cause IMO it was a massive dip. Didn’t think he would bounce back this quickly. But he has and it s great to see.

You do realise those exact weeks was when he was playing outside Tracey not that’s an excuse but he did not get those little opportunities that Ramien creates for Katoa to capitalise off

Yeah Tracey and Katoa doesn't seem to work well. Tracey and Ranldo seem to work better as a unit for whatever reason.

Imagine if he played it up like Rapana does. We would win the penalty count every week.

Katoa is a Warrior, he doesn't stay down unless he really busted
He does cop too many high shots that are unpenalized for my liking

He has seemed really fired up and aggressive the last 2 weeks - almost like he got a point to prove
He in a tight contest and battle with Ronnie for leading try scorer but it's not that I think he just loved winning and doing a good job for the team

Rep round may have helped re-ignite the spark too.

Hoping he’s not out long. This bloke has been brilliant for us the past month.
My guess is 2-4 weeks based off able to celebrate and we have ample cover for him.
0 seems too low given he heard a pop.
Worst case we’re talking a full shoulder reco like Jack has just had but he really didn’t seem anywhere near concerned enough about it that I think that is a chance
