I actually don’t think it’s overs either .

Has Flegler proven much more than him?Just can’t agree with that. If he’s worth 900 then the market is completely ****ed. He’s being a bit overrated because he’s taking advantage of the fact that the Roos have lost props. He hasn’t proven anywhere near enough to get Tapine or Flegler money, let alone Tino, AFB or Haas money. 750 is fair for him imo.
His contract after this one coming up though might be a different story, he’s definitely on an upwards trajectory, just hasn’t proven enough yet for mine.

Geez II thought he was the guy that brought the energy to their forward pack .Talk Curran might be squeezed out of the Dogs. Been doing a bit of this, more than most clubs. Not sure it can be great for culture.
Especially when it's for salary cap reasons and not because they have better players coming through. He's one of their better players.Talk Curran might be squeezed out of the Dogs. Been doing a bit of this, more than most clubs. Not sure it can be great for culture.
Didn't realise he'd been to that many.Interesting this starts to make him look like a bloke clubs aren’t too worried about losing though. Leaving dogs puts him at club number 4 by 26/27 years old
Just the 1 game at roosters but they would often keep someone they want to. Then warriors where he started well then form slipped a bit, now dogs.Didn't realise he'd been to that many.
He's a step down from AFB (1m) and Tapine (950k), but both earn about 1m. He's a step up from Flegler (900k) even pre injury IMO. He can provide a similar impact, but also has a bigger motor, he's more dynamic, and can play on the edge.Just can’t agree with that. If he’s worth 900 then the market is completely ****ed. The next group under the elite (or overpaid) guys (e.g. Paulo) includes Olakau'atu ($850k), Thompson (825k), Kikau (800k), Nanai (800k), Saifiti (800k), Leilua (775k), Barnett (750k), Carrigan (750k), Cotter (750k), and Fotuaika (750k).
I'd have him level with Ola. I think we can all agree that's unders for Carrigan and possibly Barnett too. He certainly is worth more than all the others IMO.

To be fair, if you are going to need to find a new deal elsewhere there isn’t a better time to be an off-contract player.Talk Curran might be squeezed out of the Dogs. Been doing a bit of this, more than most clubs. Not sure it can be great for culture.

NRL has announced new anti-tampering measures around trying to sign contracted players through the media.
Sure the Tigs appreciate the speed with which this has been introduced....
The NRL is set to introduce beefed-up anti-tampering rules that will prohibit club officials and player agents from making public or private remarks about the future of contracted players, and ban clubs from shopping players to rival outfits without their permission.
In a line-in-the-sand moment, the NRL will this month inform clubs and agents of their new responsibilities and obligations as they prepare to enforce the game’s new rules from December 1.
Under the new rules drawn up by the NRL and the Rugby League Players’ Association, clubs and agents face sanctions if they either:
- Contact an agent or player to discuss the future of a player if they are not a free agent.
- Make public comment that is deemed to be enticing or inducing a player to break a contract.
- Shop a contracted player from their own club to a rival club without prior permission from that player.
