Well if Wayne can’t fix him, who else can apart from maybe Bellamy? Feels like he’s at a crossroads big Dave.
Well he pulled out of going to Roosters so I doubt he would dream of going to Melboure (plus he wouldnt survive the newbie pre-season army camp that Bellamy put them through)

I guess that leaves Wayne to get the best out of him.

Yeah it does, lets see how he goes this time. Latrell didn't exactly kill it this season and Schuster was a flop.
Latrell looked in the best shape of his career though and has previously played his best football under Bennett. I think Schuster found out what it takes to be an NRL footballer and decided that wasn’t for him.

@CrazyMatt if he doesn’t pull his finger out under Wayne, who else would even bother trying?

Yeah thats kinda my point, he’s at a crossroads now. If he doesn’t take the right path now then forget about it. No more chances.

I think you’re right. Will end up like Anthony Milford, huge money to start his career then bounced a round trying to find what makes him tick but that didn’t work so now he’s just disappeared.

That’s one Wayne couldn’t get going.

He had a **** attitude from what’s being said. And multiple off field issues that weren’t published in the media.
It’s a ****ing shame because he was amazing at the Raiders. I caught his highlights from his Raiders days probably a couple years ago now and he could have been anything. But he lost his smile. Used to play with a grin from ear to ear.

I feel sorry for Schuster. He seems like he may have a few issues with his mental health.
He had everything handed to him as a kid through the juniors, they all built him up without the hard work just his sheer talent. Once it got tough he showed he didn't have the work ethic or mentality for ir

Loved watching him at the raiders when he started. Guy killed it from game 1 there.

Spine isn’t good enough
I don't think it needs to be. Humphreys, Gray and Walker are handy enough to take advantage of the ridiculous strike around them. Latrell, Fifita, Wighton, Graham, Murray, Koloamatangi. I'm not saying they are a shoe in to win it, but it's a top 4 quality roster IMO.

Dogs made the 4 this year with a worse spine, and NZ should have if Metcalf didn't get injured. I think Souths could match them both in the spine well enough.
Top 8 definitely but don’t think they’re a top 4 side yet. Just my opinion.
Remains to be seen if they can click, but hard to argue their star power is above most.

Think you could be right mate, if this side stays healthy then they are going to be very dangerous imo. Still think they’re short 1 dominate impact middle forward to being top 4 but will win plenty of games next season.

2. Johnston
3. Wighton
4. Mitchell
5. Graham
6. Walker
7. Humphries
8. Tatola
9. B Smith
10. Keon
11. Fifita
12. Aitken
13. Murray

15. Keppie
16. Duncan
17. Garlick

Agree to disagree- not even close to top 4
