Hynes is not a fullback. Fogarty has signed with Manly. All fullbacks who are wanted by their current club are almost beyond poaching.

Our problems will not be solved at the recruitment table. Our squad is fine as far as footballers go.

Absolutely it could. At the moment I don’t believe it would. I’m saying it is not a talent problem, the majority of our squad is plenty talented enough as individuals. We should obviously always look to improve our roster where we can, but this isn’t as critical as the miserable wrist slitters here would have you believe and does not require wholesale changes to either the lineup or the roster as a whole.
