Posted this last year and it’s now doing the rounds again.
Knights are doing a mini clean out and trying to gag things started right away.

Hastings has trained most of the off season in reserve grade playing lock. Huge rift with the coaches and a few players. They want him gone but nobody is keen to take him.

Hetherington & Elliot have been told they’re not going to be re signed and can leave immediately if they can find a new club each.

And last one is Brailey. Been dropped from the leadership group and is on the outer. Was linked to the Eels last year and once again his name is being linked to them for 2025.
What does Hastings do? I’ve heard others say they meet him and he seems like a nice bloke so it must be a time thing as in the more time you spend with him, the more likely you are to never want to speak to the bloke again. With the reputation he has he would have to be Joey for anyone to touch him now and I think he burnt bridges in England too so that doesn’t leave many options to play Rugby League.

Could be okay in England
Pretty sure at least one of his former clubs there had wanted to retain him

Think he’s not quite as good James Maloney.
Always comes across great in small doses but anyone who spends any time as a teammate/club mate wants him gone

Former Test prop David Klemmer is missing again — and it’s possible he won’t be at the Tigers by the time their season opener against Newcastle arrives, according to CODE Sports. Klemmer played 20 games last season but the Tigers are reportedly happy to move on from the 31-year-old after luring Terrell May and Royce Hunt, and retaining Fonua Pole; plus, Klemmer has a contract clause that gives him a 12-month extension if he plays 14 games this year, so the preference is for him to find a new club.

David Klemmer set to join the Dragons effective immediately.

A player swap could be in motion here with Molo to the Tigers.

Yeah I still like Klem as well. He’ll bring value to that team.
For sure. Looking at this pack, there is a shitload of experience in there now and some real workhorses. With Flanno as coach this pack will always be tough to beat.
Flanno just needs some x factor in the pack/side which I am sure he will find for 2026 season.

Rumour that Brailey is a serious chance of joining the Eels in the next week or so.

Not so confident in this though considering knights named in their trial squad for this weekends match.

I thought he looked alright last week. Looks fit. Hopefully he's over his injuries by now.

Josh Schusters day in rugby league appear to be numbered. Souths expected to part ways with him.
If true, what a shame, I know you need desire & work ethic to excel but that guy has a tonne of natural talent which is gunna go to waste.
