Trai Fuller rejects the Dragons deal for an immediate move.
Dragons have now turned all their attention to Scott Drinkwater. Word is they're going to throw a long term deal at him which he likely won't get at the Cows due to them being close to re signing Perdue.

How good is it!Says a lot about the Dargons.
Didn't even want to have to play the home sickness card if things went wrong.
They're in a hole deeper than we've ever been. How good is it!
Wasn't there some chat about us being interested in Drinky a few months back?Trai Fuller rejects the Dragons deal for an immediate move.

I think it was more a few of us on here wanted him but could be wrong.Wasn't there some chat about us being interested in Drinky a few months back?
Another rumour with the Dragons is that there are 3-4 big named players they’re in talks with and confident they will land all 3.
Rumour is one of them is Murray Tualagi.
They'll probably just turn out to be long names, not big names

Drinky would be a great signing for them to help lift them up from the very bottom - they have go forward but they just can't score anything, and their halves are underwhelming. Drinky fixes that. And really if you fix that, 14 is probably my other urgent upgradeI think it was more a few of us on here wanted him but could be wrong.
Multiple social media accounts are saying Drinkwater is really wanting to come back to Sydney. Rumour is Dragons have a huge offer there and they’re currently the favourites for him.
They need to sign a genuine 7 who can move them around the park along with Drinkwater. Atko can be their long term 6 where I have no doubt he will go well.Drinky would be a great signing for them to help lift them up from the very bottom - they have go forward but they just can't score anything, and their halves are underwhelming. FB: Drinkwater
Wings: Sami & Fale or Tu or Tuipulotu*
Centres: Suli & Holmes
6 Atkinson 7 Flanju
Pack: Koloamatangi Liddle Couchman Egan Sua* Stewart
14 Walters*/Humphreys*
Rest of bench: Couchman Halangahu Leilua Gutherson Kerr/Guler*/Lawrie*
Don't extend: Molo, Sloan, Cook, Feagai, Guler/Lawrie (keep the cheaper one of these two)
Others: Pasifika Tonga, Reed, Stanley-Traill, Tsougranis, Buchanan, King-Togia, Peckham-Harris
*needs to be signed or re-signed
Walters easily fills into their hooker rotation while also putting pressure on their halves, he can go to halves and Flanju to 14 if he outperforms him, and with all those releases they can pay him more than Brisbane can. Humphrey's basically all the same stuff and already reported Rabbits can't afford to keep him I believe. If you can't get them or someone for this role, keep Cook cheap and start him at 9 but wind back his minutes unless needed. Liddle also getting on though, need to get younger at hooker soonish. I like that Walters and Humphreys pressure the halves - Kade Reed is 20 and like 80kg, he realistically could be 3-4 years until he is a consistent NRL player. King-Togia a year older and 10kg heavier and not really ready for consistent first grade.
Gutho and Val free up loads of money the next year to splash on an upgrade in outside backs (or halves) and with that young pack already being competitive they will just get better, the side should move into more competitive areas.
It aint gunna win a premiership but should buy Flanno time to try and improve them further once money like Val/Gutho becomes available.
Simple.
I considered Walker but a) Stewart and Halangahu/Leilua should be fine and b) Drinky and Walters/Humphreys already add a bit more ball movement so he felt a bit too forced. Eels he fits great but they have a less ballplaying developed FB and more basic hooker than Liddle. They need to sign a genuine 7 who can move them around the park along with Drinkwater. If they can have a spine of
1. Drinkwater
2. Sami
3. Suli
4. Holmes
5. Taulagi*
6. Atko
7. Boyd*
8. Couchman
9. Liddle
10. Keon
11. Egan/Leilua
12. Su'a
13. Stewart
14. Walker*
15. Walters*
16. Leilua/Egan
17. Guler
18. Gutho
19. Halangahu
Not the worst 19 in the comp.
Imo these 4 players would make a huge difference to this side if they can sign them - Taulagi, D Walker, Boyd & Walters.
If Will keeps this form up, he's a keeper. Unfortunately he has history of not being able to do that. Prove nr wrong, Will.WK is playing great this season no doubt about it but still think we need a better FB to give us a Premiership chance.
Was thinking today, what about either of the Fletcher’s at Newcastle??
Neither gonna play FB once Ponga is back and both look like great prospects.
Not sure on Sharpe if he wants to play 1 or 6?? If it’s 1 we can tell him he is guaranteed it with us whereas he wouldn’t get that while Ponga is still in the building. Thoughts??
