Official Signings, Transfers & Recruitment Discussion 2026

Would anyone here take Blake Lawrie on the cheap as a depth signing?
even with the people leaving I think we are pretty good in the middle, especially if we lock away at least 2 of Rudolf, Puru and Tuks

Fonua-Blake 2028
Rudolf 2026
Colquhoun 2030
Hazelton 2028
Burns 2028

Kaufusi 2027
Puru 2026
Trout 2028
Hau Tapuha 2026
Hosking 2026
Fa'itili 2028
McCullough ???
Dellow 2027

Obviously if we were getting near playing Dellow we've been ravaged by injury and a bargain price Lawrie probably wouldn't go astray.
Does thin out quite a bit if we extend none of the guys off this year

Fonua-Blake 2028
Colquhoun 2030
Hazelton 2028
Burns 2028

Kaufusi 2027
Trout 2028

Why are Tommy and Billy a different colour?

Also it's McCulloch with a ch not and ugh. It took me ages to get my head around that one. I still type it wrong most times.

They are both white, but the tattoors maybe make Billy look darker?

Nah I have no idea, I assume you are seeing something but all same font colour at my end?

I'm leaving the door open for Andrew to make an NRL comeback!

He can get his name spelt right when he starts getting some game time, like Colquhoun.
Does seem to have locked himself into Jets though which is good.

Haha yeah. Those two are in lighter font for me in both your lists.

I'm still not sure Sam makes the Jets 17 when everyone is healthy and there are no clashes with NRL game, but he has been getting decent minutes lately. Hosking was out for a bit too. Came back and played off the bench last week.

If Toby happens to come in to the Jets team this week I'd expect one of JJBM or Sam to drop off. Probably JJBM, but could go either way. Sam's still behind Hosking and Fearnley in the pecking order imo.

He'll be 30 next year and has regressed awfully the last few years. I wouldn't even want him for a pie and coke.
He’s a big body
I don’t think 6-again adjustments over last two years have done him any favours

We know everyone healthy is rare haha

Nah, we dont need him blocking the pathway of a promising young guy who’s looking to make the step. Would be a pointless signing for us.
who would he be blocking that uele already isnt? and if they cant get past him, is he really isnt blocking them.
experienced forward that maybe just needs a change of scenery to get him back to his best

And if they can get past him, which I think they would, then we’re just wasting a roster spot and money. I just do not rate him highly enough for him to take a spot off a younger forward already in the system.

Just dont think he’s worth it man. 🤷‍♂️

Uele won't be here next year and the younger brigade will have another season under their belts. Huuuuuuuuge pass.
