No. I had him as off-contract. Signed a 2 year deal starting in 2021.
Thanks couldn't remember if he was off contract or dev
Never really saw or heard too much about him in his time with us personally, so I'll assume no big loss to a Q Cup team

Was considered an absolute gun when he was younger. Broncos signed him young, and his Q Cup team asked for special permission to debut him at 17. He was leapfrogged by a few guys in the Sharks system though. Primarily Colquhoun, but also Hazelton, Finau and Caleb Uele. Now Fearnley too.

I believe he played in 15 of the first 16 games, missed 5 or 6 weeks and then played the last 4.
Do you know what he did?

Thanks for the numbers . Happy if I was wrong on my understanding that he was out for an extended part of the season as he had issues with a broken arm & some complications .
If he only missed 6 weeks then probably did have an adequate opportunity to try & earn an extension which is where I had a concern .

Just checked. He was injured in round 15. He missed rounds 16-19 (just 4 games). He also missed one game earlier in the year.
He played 15/22 games for Flegg, and also 2 games for the Jets.
Certainly can't complain you didn't get a shot to show your wares can he

Maybe. Seems to me he was big for a 17yo but hasn’t filled out yet as an adult. Was brought to the club by Bomber. A bit of prospect/depth turnover is expected when a new coach comes along.

Harsh call imho, 17yo/18 located well away from home, family, injuries etc .In the background of course clubs back some/promote some to early, hold others etc etc . I'm tipping he gets another crack.
