Official Signings/Re-Signings 2023

Not just the forum. His management (his Dad) announced it via FB. 3 year deal. Just turned 18 so should end up in Flegg. He’s a half.

It was announced a few weeks ago and I missed it. Sorry - I’m slipping :(

Here are a few more I missed. I’ll update the JF and SG Ball threads soon.

Re-signed Tom Rodwell from Flegg (no details)
Ben Lavender - centre (Dragons/Steelers) - 2 years. I think he goes up to Flegg next year but need to confirm
Lachlan Crouch (Knights) back rower - 2 years - need to check his age.

I know sweet f/a about any of them (other than Rodwell of course). Whatever I learn in the little while I'll add in to the relevant threads.

He’s a monster. Was 190cm and 110kg this time last year apparently. With the Warriors not being in SG Ball this year he played first grade in the local Auckland comp.

Born in 2003, so still eligible for SG Ball.

Ask goes by Charles.

I've added all of these new signings to the SG Ball thread, Lavender seems like a highly-rated player. He was in the same U15 Australian Schoolboys team as Kobie Wilson in 2018. He's also been part of the Steelers' gun SG Ball team the last 2 years and has won some PoTY awards.

All four are 2003-born, so eligible for SG Ball (u19) but you'd think there is a fair chance that at least a couple of them go up to Flegg once the SG Ball season is done. Half the team did it last year.
