Sharks now have 23/30 for next year under contract. They only need to sign one more player between now and 7 November to be cap compliant.

Apparently, Frederic Michalak has joined our staff as a kicking coach. I don't know much about him having not followed Rugby. The article I saw is all in french. Found this about him previously working with Keary at the roosters though.

* Google Translate to the rescue. Been here since June, gone in August.

From the article:

His duties mainly relate to kicking training: "I've been with them all this month. They're really looking for complementarity and expertise. My role is to try to improve their kicking technique ". I had the chance to be with the Roosters for a year, so I already knew rugby league", he explains for Rugbyrama.

We're 29 confirmed top 30 at this stage by the look of things, 9 days left to confirm one more squad member.
Could be someone like Colquhoun or Hazelton is already in top 30, or we could promote someone else from within, possibility of a signing (not sure how the efforts with Tino and Tapine are going)

Worth noting that means he has worked with Fitz before too so he is coming in as someone Fitz has confidence can do a good job, not just on the strength of his CV

Very good point. Things like this make FItz really seem like a smart operator.

Couldn't find exact stats but looks like he's had seasons converting kicks at 90%+ too, so that doesn't hurt haha

Not as good as Gal....
Gal can take back over soon, Frederic is only here for this month before he goes back to coaching union.
Looks like Fitz rated him enough to fly him over just for a month of input before he was needed back with Toulon.

I’ve watched plenty of rugby and this blokes goal kicking was fucking insane. Great kicking game also. Very smart from Fitz getting him here. Love this out of the box approach regarding this.
