Fresh Thread for 2020

I realise Ramien is not official but having him included here gives a more complete picture. There will no doubt be plenty of changes to this list before round 1 2020.

So who do you think wears the number 13 in round one next year?

Toby Rudolf is a development contract
Development list is nominated each year.

For 2019 Rudolf was on the development list. For 2020 he is under contract but not confirmed to be on the development list so he gets to be on the main list until the team confirms otherwise. Same for Ferris.

Do we really know that Gray has been released? It's been talked about here from time to time, but I've seen nothing from the club.

His contract has ended.
We have not opted to retain him however may be keeping our options open if we didn't formally farewell him.

He's not the worst depth back if he's willing to take minimum wage.

True, but in saying that surely there is a uncontracted lower grades player somewhere who is 80% as good with far more potential.
Depends where we need Gray to sit on the depth chart.

If Dugan/Morris start on wings, then have Ronaldo, then have Katoa and also have Ferris we can look for someone to give an opportunity to.
If Dugan is starting FB then Ronaldo & Morris start on the wings and then only Katoa and Ferris. Gray could be a bit more useful in this instance.

Only seen him once or twice and he went okay, but 25 with 15 NRL games whats the value of him over Gray?

he will be a lot cheaper than gray i would say and he is already playing for the jets

Gray will take what he offered or get nothing as far as I am concerned, so they'd be the same price. If Gray wanted to try and hold out for more than minimum Tyrone can have the gig

someone like gray will get picked up in the superleague, but i could also see him in townsville

they have no backs and whilst gray didnt hit his early heights here, he can still contribute ti a team

Technically Gray should probably be in the “other 2019 players” list. No official announcement but it was reported earlier this year that the Sharks told him he would not be offered a contract.

outstanding news

i want him to be our fullback next year if moyza is cooked
Seems like a fairly like for like switch for him to come in and frustrate us while Moylan is out.

Hopefully when he does get another crack he makes the most of it.

Only got a one year deal so Morris is clearly interested but unconvinced
