should the nrl be able to award the 2 points to the team that should have won?

Which is exactly why Maxwell will be sacked this week and if he makes more mistakes, will be sacked permanently.

Your idea is stupid and the correct procedure is already in place.

The problem is there are no viable replacements.

What is the correct procedure that is in place? There isnt anything in place, except a little. lawl you made a boo boo GGs.

There are 1000's of refs out there r******. bring in the NSW cup/Toyota Cup refs. I bet half of them are sitting at home each week going. WTF DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET AN NRL GAME. THAT WAS ****IN STUPID.

And dont give me that crap about them not being ready. We talk up NSW cup and NYC players that should be given goes in first grade all the time due to **** performances from First grade players. Its the same thing

Start reeling off names of referee's that are ready.

Maxwell will be sacked, which is the correct procedure for a **** house game.

You wanting referees to face the media is laughable.

Your only agreeable point is that there may be referees in lower grades who have not been given a chance. Which i am not adverse to them being given the opportunity.

However i can guarantee as soon as a rookie referee comes to grade and has a shocker, you will be the first person complaining about giving them a go and that they should front the media.....

Maybe we just aren't paying enough to get good refs coming through like any job you pay for monkeys you get monkeys pay them a base plus an incentive if they don't **** up, make them accountable to their wallet its amusing how quick things can change.

What are they on 100k or something if that's the case no wonder we don't have decent refs.

I think refs just need KPI's or whatever. Every single decision of every single match should be reviewed afterwards and a ref get an overall score for how accurate they were.

Good KPI's = bonuses and chance to ref rep games.
Bad KPI's = fines, dropping to lower grades, unpaid suspensions.

Then to make it fair the refs for each game should be chosen so that high quality refs aren't just given to the channel 9 games over and over again. It should work out even overall.

If you got done by a **** ref the week before maybe you get the best ref the next week as well.

i know everyone thinks my idea is silly but would you all feel the same way if it cost a spot in top 4 or top 8, particulary if the tigers made it stead of us? Someone else said a afl team appealed and were awarded the points, is there any reason we could not try the same thing?

How do you even know we would of still won that's the point. The afl decision was different
well the best try that the video ref said he would have awarded, but if the nrl was still not convinced we deserved the win. the could always call it a draw as if the in correct decision to award the tigers the penalty they would not have the field postion to kick the field goal. that would still be a better option

So have we never been gifted a win before because off a ref decision??? Imagine if they took it away from us. The out cry would be unbareable

Of cause i would. Just like a rookie player who comes in and ****s up, is in the media and is held accountable for it.
Why are you saying its ok for Players to be put under this and not refs?
And i cant name any ref that could replace them. But i couldnt even tell you the names of the refs that did our game. Just ******** 1 and dick head 2. I know them by what they look like not names.

I do know if we had the "Gun Show" ref (the dick with the tats under both arms) Bests try would of went upstairs, that dick always goes to the video ref to show off his tats/guns

i am sure we have, but i think we cop more bad calls than we benefit from in correct decisions. i understand what you are saying. maybe it could be a last resort option at the end of regular season say if we missed out either a top 4 or 8 spot but would have made it with those 2 points. maybe appeal at stage would not be so silly.
i just can not understand how afl team can have a bad decision reversed but if anyone suggest the same happen in the nrl that is stupid.

The refs have stated the Best double movement was the correct call, and that the charge down should have been a Sharks scrum feed.

There is way too much doubt to give us the win anyway, so no need to talk about it any more.
