I could of got the whole day for $350 with this shops apprentice. Didn't want to risk it so I went for the owner who was highly recommended. We have alot of tattoo shops for a small town with a lot of artists at each one which breeds competition I guess.

Every artist charges different mate. I went to a pretty sought after bloke who charged $150 an hour. This took 7.5 hours.

Definitely worth spending the extra money I would think given it's permanent.

I got my first ever tattoo

Not bad for a nerdy primary school maths teacher.

I'm very happy with it. Wife is worried it's starting an addiction that'll spiral outta control. Haha

Cheers guys. Not that I got it to impress people, but everyone seems to love it when they see it. And yes Hughesy its definatley addicting, you know your hooked when your thinking about your next tatt before they have even finished doing your current one!

Looks tops, HM. I've seen a few and the blue looks a bit bubbly. Not sure if it's because they're still a bit fresh or what but it makes me wonder if it's related to the particular colour used. Anyway, well done.

yeah they take a while to settle down. You just had a needle inject ink into tour skin like 10 million times so its to be expected. Straight afterwardthere was blood soaking through the jersey. Looked unreal actually.

I was worried about getting the blue right. Had the artist sweating after I explained the make or break colour choice. I think he nailed both.

I always like wrap around arm or leg bands, have one around my bicep with wifey n kids name, was thinking just a nice plain one in sharks colours around the other arm but always worried about how white turns out .

White can fade a bit faster and will need to be touched up over time but coloured tattoos need that any way, especially ones that are exposed to sunlight. It can turn out different depending on your skin tone, some can look a bit scar like. Best discuss it with your artist.
