Talk of these guys made me wonder about a side I played against back in the day, was NSW CCC 18s
I never knew if any of those guys went on to NRL

**** me no wonder we got demolished, Boyd Cordner, Kieran Foran, Jamal Idris, Albert Kelly, Kyle O'Donnell, Junior Roqica, Aaron Woods
You were going well till you mentioned Aaron Woods!

I’d like to look back in 5 years on how many from this “best 50 players” list are in the NRL, and how many the same age didn’t make the list but made it to the NRL anyway.

When will the SG players like Siteni get a run in Flegg? Thought it would be by now if they were.

Jordan Miller
State: NSW
Position: Prop
Affiliation: Wests Tigers
School: St Gregory’s College Campbelltown

Already contracted to the Wests Tigers, Miller is a future NRL prop. The Tigers are attempting to lock him down long term.
Dolphins have offered this bloke a 4 year $1 mil deal. Wants to stay at tigers but can’t match that offer

Yeah - have heard all that. Some say he is a bit like Pele though. Dominating kids but maybe will struggle stepping up against blokes who can tackle.

Flegg has a large training squad. Pretty sure all of the best younger players are training with Flegg already. For Siteni, maybe they are just waiting until all of the rep/school stuff is out of the way before he plays.

Lachlan Crouch is in the squad this week in #18.

Kobie Wilson may get a run off the bench some time soon - but imo Healey is a better starter.

If it turns out that Kobie is related to Alan though, it’s going to be a tough choice between those two.

When named their Centre should be a player William Aufulo ( spelling?) Very good prospect - should be in that top 50 list.
He was at the trials.

William Afualo - Holy Spirit College, Lakemba

Plays for Bulldogs SG Ball.

As per the signings thread - I’ll add Junior Taupau (signed for 2 years) to the SG Ball team list for 2023.

I’ll do an update to post #1 soon.

Yeah - a lot of this stuff comes from people watching highlights or listening to hype, rather than seeing the guys play.

Speaking of gun prospects, a few of the better ones are getting in to Q Cup now that rep duties are finished.

Mozer debuted last week
Pezet is named this week
Willison has played 2-3 games now I think

Will keep an eye out for others

Wasn't there a Pezet who played for the Gold Coast many years ago? Relation perhaps? Didn't set the world on fire though from memory.

Yeah. Jonah is Troy Pezet's son. Troy played for the Crushers and for Parra.

True dis.Seen him win many games. What Q cup team are you associated with Burgess? Young kid Trent Veukiso, good prospect, with Wynumm now?
Our club is a feeder to Wynnum, but I haven’t done anything with them this year. I did some good stuff at the start of last year. Michael Dobson organises a lot of it. He doesn’t do any hands on though.

For watching colts and Q Cup though, it just depends who I am going with. Easts and Wynnum are closest, but I have a mate who lives near Burleigh and another who is a massive Redcliffe fan. I’ve also been watching our own open mens and ladies play a bit this year instead of going to Q Cup games. It’s only Open 3’s, but it’s an 8 minute drive from home :)

I haven’t heard of this kid. Will keep an eye out though.

As per signings thread, Sharks have signed Tre Fotu on a 2 year deal. He's born in 2004, so will still be eligible for SG Ball in 2023.

He's a left centre. Was in the Qld u18 schoolboys team this year. Goes to Ipswich SHS and plays for Souths Logan.
