He any good ?
What are his assets ?

He has a dig, good speed, elusive, kicks well, solid pass and runs a good structure... Plays union over here and is a NZ rep for Touch... be interesting to see what he can do in a trial.

Maybe some extra tackling practice might be in order before the trial...

kiwishark - the 16’s (HM) comp for this year has already started. Open trials where quite a while ago.

The club does recruit fairly heavily from NZ though. A good place to start would be get a hold of some contact details for Glenn Brailey and hit him up directly.

If your boy is u16 this year (2004) you might be able to get him over for the 18’s open trials for next year.

Thanks for the tip burgess I’ll see if I can get some details for Glen Brailey.

He can hold his own in defensive... he has only ever played 1 game of league which would be the problem

Round 6 v Roosters @ 6:32
https://www.nswrl.com.au/news/2020/03/17/highlights-une-sg-ball-rd-6/

I'd say that the SG Ball season is done for the year. The GF was meant to be in April. Sharks were 13th on the ladder.

From what I've seen in the highlights Dykes seems to have a hand in almost every try they score. He looks like a bit bigger/taller kid than his dad. Hopefully he can defend a bit better too!

Just as the Pirates were going to turn their season around...
