Apparently a few Sharks jerseys will appear in Puberty Blues TV remake

Just watching the actual movie as we speak.
Old school! Just as they are all getting into drugs. They are sitting around playing poker. One of them has the hoops jersey underneath his flanno.
Up CRONULLA!

As a long time fan of the club that was one of my favourite eras. We didn't always have the greatest side but we were building towards something in 1988. ( sadly we got bundled out in straight sets). I saw every game at Ronson. An afternoon at the footy was awesome. We actually had some blokes then that could score tries. That's why Valentine Holmes is a little ray of sunshine and must be playing each week next season.

My cousin was in a movie with Ian Roberts. Don't think it will ever be released though.

A little more context-

The director is Jackson Mullane, the son of former Cronulla star Greg, who made 99 first-grade appearances for the Sharks.

A crew of about 50 began shooting at Remondis Stadium last night and will return to the ground on Thursday evening to wrap up shooting. The cameras will return for Cronulla's home game against Manly to use the crowd as extras and for background shots.

Gallen said his involvement was more a cameo than a pointer to his post-football career. "I don't think I'll be actively seeking any more work," he said.
