Who did you speak to, Jigsaw? Whoever it was gave you bad information.

The Sharks will be appearing in Lowood on Saturday morning (the day after the Sharks/Broncos game) and doing a mix and mingle for an hour or two. It isn't a closed event so it is open to all members and fans.

Hi Billy,

Unfortunately no signing appearance has been scheduled for the team. Your best to try your luck at the game!

Wow. That person will be spoken to. They'll be at Lowood and they'll certainly sign things for people. I guarantee it.

True that - but Lowood is way too far away for Brisbane based supporters. It's equivalent distance-wise to Shark Park to Dapto, without the good road. Shocking roads in fact.

Maybe after they go to lowood..Are they going to market a sydney team in the brisbane cbd???

no, but ipswich was an area just as devastated by floods and given there is a bid team for the western corrdior i thought that might be a good idea...

did any sharks players come up and assist during the floods? i live in the Ipswich area and Lowood is apart of our local footy comp, and I'd just say don't be disappointed Sharks if no one turns up!! they're red neck broncos supporters out there!!

The Sharks have an relationship with the Lowood JRLFC which was notably strengthened after the floods. The players will be doing drills with approximately 150 kiddies (restricted to Lowood JRLFC players - but to which everyone is invited to watch) before they will sign a few autographs for people.

Everyone is invited to attend (they'll be there from 9:30AM-11:00AM) but the priority will certainly be placed on the children who are a part of the Lowood JRLFC, many of whom are from families that are still in recovery mode after the floods. A feel good selection, really.
