I used to like Andy's podcasts up until last year when I head him call Ronnie an actual F##kwit on his weekly podcast.

I unsubscribed after that.

Out of respect for Nathan, I will listen.
 
Latest ET Stand was a bit painful to listen to with majority of it being origin.

Previous week was good with the guy (Steven Russo) giving a bit of a rundown on prospects at the Jets. I didn't agree with everything he said but he's been the most up-to-date person on the Jets and Sharks young players I've heard on any of the three podcasts ever.

Funny thing is they opened that episode by saying they are all sick of talking origin.

I hope Chad asks Jimmy why he threw in the towel in 2017 wearing our jersey and played like a bum - was he coaching the side in 2017 as well?

I hope so too

I'd love to get an answer on whether he was upset specifically Chad got a pay rise, or that a bunch of halves in other teams got even bigger pay rises. Been a few around who think the issue was specifically Chad, which makes it even more petulant if true.

Chad wasn't as talented on the field but was smarter and played the off field game better than Maloney over the course of his career

I don't think Chad ever threw a season out of spite or petulance (even if poor form at times made it look it) I think he always gave 100% for his team (most of the time anyway) and has always seemed a good guy off the field

Essentially the board, club and player agreed. Then the club was asking Maloney why he hadn't signed the deal. He was never given it. Some say Flanno was keeping a spot for Kyle.

Maloney never, ever wanted to leave. The issue was the mixed messaging to player and games being played behind the scenes. When board members are asking why a contract hadn't been signed yet hadn't been presented should tell you everything.

Keep in mind Maloney and Flanno had the same manager. Very messy.
