Sharks/Footy PODCAST Thread

I have only one criticism of Snowy's podcast and that is there is too much swearing.

Believe it or not, I am no prude but if you are looking for someone in the media to notice you and perhaps give you the opportunity of a lifetime then I don't think a podcast littered with four letter words is going to help.

And guys, I do think you have some potential, you both speak well and are knowledgeable of the game.

I just don't think you need to resort to that type of language. I think you are both better than that.

Yes mate you are being harsh, Ronaldo had a good enough game to get a point in the 3, 2 1s.

Fair enough and I can cop it but I just don't think it is needed. It's almost like they think they'd be boring if they didn't swear. Not true at all. They speak well and are anything but boring.

I agree its not needed but I take it as just a fun sharks podcast, nothing too serious.

Also agree they speak well.

Both Dan and I have done media degrees and I can tell you neither of us want to get noticed

But yes, toning the swearing is on the cards as we have a few listeners who we like that are a bit sensitive

Genuinely think you'd do well to tone down the style of criticism. Not stop having an opinion, even a strong one, but you know what I mean. Calling blokes spastics etc and wishing harm upon them is a bit too Alan Jones slash any old bloke on AM radio for me, and is bound to make it tough for you to get interviews with players or NRL types in the future. Worse, you could accidentally land someone in trouble through association. It only takes one tweet these days to cause blokes a lifetime of trouble.

Just my two cents.

On a positive note you've improved in that area. Your earlier episodes would have filled two swear jars.

Now half filling just the one.
