You're thinking of North Cronulla, there was some links between the building companies. But this is probably a topic best not covered here, it's always a risk of litigation.
I'm pretty close to it all so am happy to explain if people want to DM me

Would like to see Wade Graham involved in the board/management one day.

The thing about the media room, it may be a whinge, but we should be making improvements in that regard, there’s no excuses why some of the facilities in the ET Stand can’t be improved. Even the sponsor boxes are pretty dated.

You’d upgrade the boxes way before you even gave the media rooms a consideration. They are there to work and need to be there. Sponsors can choose to not come or pay so screw the media

Also he’s being a bit of a diva. No kettle… piss off

The media shape the opinions though. I've heard in the past on the radio when they'll talk glowingly about a club, just because they put on a good lunch for them. Plus it's just basic attention to detail, there are lots of areas of the ground that could easily be improved with a simple "working bee".

One comment from a pleb is getting way too much oxygen. Ignore it and move on ffs.
It might have started with a “pleb” but it’s caught fire. And it would have caught fire without a few comments on Sharks Forever. If you wanna ignore it, then go for it. But it’s definitely still getting discussed in multiple places.

As far as what people are allowed to talk about, and where they get their info - where is the line on what is a reputable source in 2026?

Whether it’s the Telegraph, NRL.com, Fox Sports, Triple M, Nine, Fairfax, SEN, Snowman, James Graham, Paul Kent, Shinazz, Baldo - I’ve heard all of em bagged at some point, which are the ones spitting facts 100% of the time?

The reputable source mate is the club itself. I have faith in them and support everything they do. I do not accept for one second anything those on your list say until the club either confirms or denies it. Too many gullible people choose to believe everything others say and I have no idea why.

I actually agree with pretty much everything you just said in regards to the most reliable source.

But I don’t think it’s about being gullible. People don’t necessarily believe everything they hear. What I’m trying to understand is why there is an aversion to talk about this topic on a Sharks’ forum?

I think we all agree that the ground is ****. Someone at the NRL probably stated the obvious that it’s ****. Dino also confirmed that they’re talking to Venues NSW about ways to make it less ****.

So talk away in my opinion.

Totally agree with what you say about the ground. More than happy for everyone to talk about that.

The aversion about talking about the moving away from Shark Park topic on this forum is simply not to give those guys more airtime than they really deserve. They have made something up without checking their facts. It’s as simple as that.

Also they are different conversations.

Discussions about ground disrepair and the club choosing to hypothetically take games elsewhere are regularly had on here.

This conversation is about a fabricated rumour that we will be forced to moved. It won't be happening.
