perhaps sidle up to everyone
labor if they could win
one nation if this is one of those seats that swings further right

4% swing to labor last time, but still very safe liberal seat

If anyone is going to AGM, below are my two

1. With the nrls massive profits and no grants from govts, has club went to nrl to see if they are open to do an agreement with them for a 50:50 situation (like the grant with fed /starte) and we raise $ and they match it, then we pay it off. Or if grant comes they pay it to nrl

2. Has club bought the Chinese resturant and I corporate it into club to use as admin office, corporate boxes and kitchen facility for events

100%

COE is essential, absolutely diabolical we are the only club without access to one. The fact we own thr stadium is irrelevant with that.

Great idea regarding repurposing the gym area.

Still on track for a September opening
This is fantastic news.
Dino said in that interview the other day that it will go up to 18,000. I don’t see how, but it will involve the extra PB Stand seats, removing the corporate marquee in NW corner, and I assume a little more room at the NE corner near where the construction is happening (though additional toilet block and gate are also planned there).
Would this mean by September this year, the expected capacity for Shark Park will theoretically be 18k?

I think I may have read in the past that a large portion of the capacity comes through the extra thoroughfares & exits, which allows the standing room on the Hills to be more packed, within fire codes, etc.

I had a look at the 2019 game against the Raiders which got 19k. You can definitely tell the hill/standing areas are more populated. I don't believe there have been too many more regulations put on standing areas on hills since 2019, at least compared to the difference to 2004.

The only areas that would have been permanently effected by the construction compared to the 2019 game are the highlighted yellow areas below - which I could easily see only accounting for 1k reduction:

I would guess any work on the GA capacity would only start over the off-season. They said they would be doing the Peter Burns Stand work then (so the corporate marquee will still take up room until then). And it would probably take at least the off-season to get that north-east corner right.... I also don't know whether they will still need to reserve that part for crane access for future stages. Good question though.

New windows unlocked.

These will be the Chairman’s Lounge on the southern end, and planned to be a “Wine Bar” on the northern end (also labelled “Pre-Function” in the plans)

When you look at the top floor, you wonder if we could open that up more. Maybe it doesn’t align with the top level of the leagues club though, or some other structural reason

Looks like they are also getting ready to extend out in front of the glass windows as well - outdoor seating for that corporate area above the seats below?

Interesting, I didn't spot that, I thought it was just scaffolding. But think you're right. Would look good if so.
